The NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management aims to facilitate individuals charged with responsibilities for the management of environmental risk or aiming to develop and implement effective environmental management systems within their
organisations.

| Entry Qualifications |
|
NEBOSH do not stipulate entry qualifications for this award but candidates
should have a good standard of written English. |

| Distance Learning |
|
Course materials consist of printed notes, two textbooks, the NEBOSH environmental audit proforma and guide, and distance learning coursework. Coursework may be submitted for marking by post or email. The course is supported by non-compulsory tutorials,
these are held in Coventry. |

| Environmental Diploma Assessment |
| To obtain the Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management candidates must pass a written examination and submit an
environmental audit report based on the NEBOSH proforma of audit questions. The audit is marked by
ATM Safety & Environment and moderated by NEBOSH. Candidates are responsible for finding their own site to audit. |
